| Holy smokes do I love weddings! I've had the joy of photographing amazing, down-to-earth, laid back, funny, sweet couples since 2004. In 2009, I married the most awesomest guy I've ever met. Bret is patient, funny, strong and just as crazy as I am (well, I think some of my crazy has rubbed off...) Actually, he was also a Marine, so that helps keep my crazy to a minimum. In a surprising turn of events, he started shooting weddings with me shortly after we got married. We had SO much fun shooting together. I can't tell you how awesome it is to photograph a very moving ceremony, look up and see your husband looking at you and mouthing "I love you" across a sanctuary. Heaven. On. Earth. Makes me cry every time. If you haven't picked up on it so far, I am a VERY excitable and emotional person. I use way too many of these (!!!!!!!). I sign my emails loves. When you have a consultation with me and I start clapping and jumping out of my seat because you told me about how your fiance proposed, it's totally legit. Every time Canon in D is played, I tear up thinking about a bride walking down the aisle. First dances crumble me to a blubbering mess. But don't worry, I cry at EVERY wedding I shoot (and ones I attend....see on TV or in a movie....or read about in a book), it doesn't hamper my shooting. Can I say it again?? I LOVE weddings! |

| But there's something I love even more...our couples. It has been an honor and a joy to meet and photograph such awesome people. Since we believe in cultivating a friendship with our couples, we really get to know them and keep in touch long after the wedding. About 80% of our previous clients are Facebook friends....and that's not higher because some of them don't have Facebook profiles! I had an idea in the spring of 2011, to take a picture with all of our rings, the bride, the groom, Bret and myself. Photographically saying, "we support your marriage." We believe that the real journey begins after the wedding is over. We want to continue sharing the joys and sorrows of marriage with our clients, friends and family. This idea has caught on so much that we had a bride who put up a print of 4 sets of rings! (Theirs, ours, and two of our previous couples) We'd love to capture your "day 1." | ||||||||||||||||||||
